Emiliana Sparaco is a California Union professional who approaches organizing by pairing advocacy and leadership development. Her experience includes building committees, organizing membership drives, and has overseen countnless sucessful issue-based campaigns. Emiliana’s expertise on worker-led campaigns has led to members' successful securing meaningful material wins.
Ms. Sparaco has guided bargaining and representation programs and assisted union member leaders in designing effective labor-management structures. Her efforts enabled the securing of collective bargaining agreements, which boosted membership growth and strength.
Emiliana gained early experience as a student worker in high school. She has served as a campaign volunteer during local, state, and national elections. She has been active in many civic organizations focused on social issues impacting youth, students, and broader working class communites. Emiliana has recruited volunteers, canvassed, manned phone banks, and assisted with voter registration.
Ms. Sparaco acquired a certificate in Labor Relations from Cornell University. Among her many free-time pursuits are photography, cooking, and visiting museums.
